Pulse Supermodel Alicia Burke is Jamaica and the Caribbean’s leading supermodel and the only model from the region to be rated by Models.com among the top 50 money earners in the world  Burke continues to reign with a blitz of bookings on both sides of the Atlantic, nabbing multiple assignments for some of the world’s top brands. Burke who flew back to Jamaica recently from a two day shoot in New York City, is holding options for a couple of significant brands for which gag orders are out.

Said the Pulse Supermodel Alicia Burke who is set to leave for Amsterdam then to Milan for work, “I love my job and I have been very fortunate to be on speed dial for my top clients who keep me very busy. At the same time, its amazing to be in the running for new game changing campaigns.”

The Italian Vogue covergirl has scored one campaign after another as well as multiple editorials over the last 2 years, despite the challenges of a global pandemic. Coming off an outstanding year of stunning editorials and campaigns in 2021, with covers for L’Officiel and Elle magazines between a multitude of jobs for her favoured clients, Burke starred in designer Tommy Hilfiger at the end of the year. She has since been in scorching form in 2022 and well into the first quarter, her magic run continues unabated.

From January to present, the supermodel has been criss crossing the globe for assignments for her top money clients from London to Los Angeles including a few like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Brooks Brothers, Neiman Marcus, Next and Banana Republic. She is among the rare group of stars who has a great balance of staple luxury clients that come back to her very often to front their campaigns and their look books with her beauty. In one of her featured stories on models.com, Burke is described as “the perfect canvass.” It is no wonder that she is the “go – to” girl for a myriad of beauty campaigns. What industry insiders refer to as that special ‘X’ factor, is the main attraction which has her being constantly called upon by beauty giants like Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford, Nars Cosmetics and Laura Mercier for whom she has worked on multiple occasions.

Her beauty credentials have remained strong, says Pulse’s Kingsley Cooper who introduced the Caribbean Model Search TV show winner to the international market. Burke hit the ground in sensational form, scoring accolade after accolade immediately on beginning her career with Models 1 a few years ago, in the United Kingdom.

Said Vogue then “when a great model arrives, everyone takes notice.” And indeed they did, Burke immediately stamped her name in the annals of fashion history when the same publication noted that she was among “six bombshells taking over the modelling world and was the model Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney and Dolce & Gabbana can’t get enough of.” The revered publication went on to put her on the cover of the flagship Italian edition shortly thereafter.

Alicia’s body of work includes a litany of fashion’s crème de la creme like Armani, Anna Sui, Azzedine Alaia, Bottega Veneta, Brunello Cucinelli, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Diane Von Furstenberg Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Diesel, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Nina Ricci, Jason Wu, John Galliano, Louis Vuitton, Prabal Gurung, Prada, Tory Burch, Stella Mc Cartney, Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo, Valentino to name just a few. Her cover credits include the aforementioned Italian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, L’Officiel and Issue magazine among others.
