Just after returning home from her London base, Pulse’s Miqueal-Symone Williams got seconded to Paris over the Christmas period to shoot for top French label, Armani. This is a major career boost for the fast-rising Pulse star who won the Pulse / Select Model Search 2018.
Delighted by her Armani appointment, her international management team, which includes her mother agent Pulse, London’s Select and Paris’ Premium, believes this could catapult Williams to a new level in her career. In fact, all the agents have had to be doing a serious balancing act with all the bookings coming in from the major markets for the 5’10” lanky beauty who has the versatility to elevate to all areas of the modeling business.
A megabrand of world fashion, Armani is a luxury house founded in Italy by Giorgio Armani in 1975. Haute couture, ready to wear, shoes, accessories, eyewear, home décor, and cosmetics are part of the multibillion-dollar company which had estimated sales of US$2.6 billion in 2016. Miqueal-Symone joins other Pulse modes, Nicola Vassell and Jaunel Mc Kenzie who have been enrolled by the famous Italian luxury label.
Her Armani assignment aside, and though not yet in a full year of her international modeling debut, M.S. Williams has already found favour with some of London’s major high street labels. Williams has become a fixture across several advertising platforms for Topshop one of Britain’s most popular ready to wear brands. French Connection, Selfridges and Warehouse are some of the daily staple of clients constantly calling on the beauty. Work for L’Oreal Cosmetics and Tommy Hilfiger are also major bookings which have helped to solidify her growth at such an early stage of her international modeling journey.
Major editorials for Elle and Marie Claire have put M.S. Williams to the forefront of new rising stars of fashion to watch this season. As for the shows where she only did duties in the London collections, Miqueal-Symone walked for Richard Quinn, Roksanda, Halpern and Huishan Zhang. This season, however, she has already been tapped for some of the fashion heavyweights not only in London but also in Paris and NY.
In fact, the former Immaculate Conception High School and UWI student has a packed schedule ahead of her with the Couture on the horizon in Paris then to NY for the Ready to wear collections there before heading back to the London shows.
